Narrative therapy training online with Dulwich Centre

Dulwich Centre is soon to offer online training courses in narrative therapy and community work!

We will be announcing a number of courses over the coming months. These will range from introductions to narrative therapy, to short courses on specific maps of narrative practice and narrative methodologies, to our year-long International Training Program.

The kinds of training will also vary – some courses will be simple online activities you can undertake in your own time, while the longer courses will involve online lectures and tutorials, weekly written reflections, and major assignments.

Faculty members currently include David Epston, Jill Freedman, Sekneh Beckett, Sue Mitchell, Angel Yuen, Lorraine Hedtke, John Winslade, Cheryl White, Jane Hutton, David Denborough, Carolyn Markey, Chris Dolman, and Chris Burke – and more faculty will join us as the courses expand.

Dulwich Centre is using Moodle to deliver these courses – an open-source e-learning program initially developed in Australia, which has a strong focus on the social construction of knowledge – so courses include places to chat online with other students, direct contact with teachers, and collaborative projects, such as a new wiki glossary of narrative therapy terms.

Announcements about these new developments will be made soon through the Dulwich Centre Email News.
