    Dear team,
For quite some time I have been facing some issues while taking session notes. Currently I’m taking online sessions (audio), so I can use “rescuing client’s words” quite seriously (and so so effective). The problem comes when it’s a face to face interaction where I can’t jot down all the important things I consider is fodder for our conversations and direction.

I don’t know if it’s a basic problem but I just wanted to know your thoughts on this.

    Warm regards,

    Hi Mohana,

Apologies for this incredibly delayed response. I resonate with your issues of note taking. Initially even I found it hard to write down everything while ensuring it doesn’t interrupt my “presence” with the client.
But I think I got used to it after a few months and now am really gald to take notes this way, it has made my practice richer and it saves me so much time!

I think audio recording is a great idea! maybe you could ask for permission to audio record your face to face sessions too but it won’t be very helpful when you have to offer editorials within the session.
