From issue 1 2023, International Journal of Narrative Therapy and Community Work has published on a Diamond Open Access basis.
All journal content published from 2023 is freely and permanently available to access and share. There are no submission fees and no article processing charges for authors. This is a contribution to the narrative practice community from the publisher, Dulwich Centre Foundation.
The journal’s archive of papers published from 2002 to 2022 remains available via a subscription to Dulwich Centre’s Reading Room, or through libraries with a subscription to EBSCO, ProQuest or Informit. It is also available through the National Library of Australia. Individual articles can be purchased from Dulwich Centre’s bookshop.
From issue 1 2023, all peer-reviewed articles, reviews, interviews, videos and audio content are made available under a Creative Commons licence as soon as they are published without an embargo period. This allows permanent free access to any user to view, download, copy, distribute, search, or link to our content. Content, including full text of articles, may be indexed or distributed via third-party repositories. You don’t need to create an account to access the journal’s Open Access content.
The journal generally publishes articles under a CC BY-NC-ND (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs) Creative Commons licence. However, if an author prefers or is bound by a funding agreement, condition of employment or similar, they may opt to publish under a different Creative Commons licence. Authors retain copyright and full publishing rights. The specific Creative Commons licence and copyright terms are detailed in the footer of each published article.
Authors of papers to be published enter into an Open Access publishing agreement granting International Journal of Narrative Therapy and Community Work a licence to publish their paper. A sample agreement can be downloaded here.
