Dear Reader,
Welcome to this special journal issue, which contains papers from First Nations narrative practitioners and other papers from India and Australia.
It’s an issue that offers practice papers relating to a broad range of social issues: decolonisation, spirituality, patriarchal attitudes to women’s lives, and responding to natural disasters related to climate change.
Significantly, the authors have co-generated, with the people they work with, a range of innovative ways of working. Whether these be ‘The Sun of Life’ created with 13-year-old Terri, or the ‘First Nations Systems of Needs’, or the ‘Tree of Spirituality’, or creative intergenerational collaborations, or unique forms of narrative therapy in psychedelic harm reduction – we hope these papers will offer ideas for practice in your local context.
Warm regards,
Cheryl White
