Two interviews about narrative therapy’s relationship with family therapy — Michael White
This collection consists of two interviews with Michael White. The first, entitled ‘Diversity and family therapy’ was conducted by Myrna Gower. The second, entitled ‘Then and now…’ was conducted by Jill Freedman. These two interviews explore the relationship between family therapy, systemic ideas and what has come to be known as narrative therapy. Both these interviews also consider some of the histories of thought that have influenced the development of narrative practice. These pieces were previously published in the book ‘Reflections on narrative practice: Essays and interviews’ which is now out of print.
