My name is Monica Florensa. I'm a psychologist specialized in Narrative Therapy and Community Work. On the one hand I work with older people (especially those with dementia) and their families. On the other hand, I'm a psychologist of the Platform of People Affected by Mortgage (PAH) in Lleida, where I give support to individual cases and to the community.
In addition, I am involved in several projects and opened to new ones where I can contribute and share experiences.
Since the completion of my degree I was looking for a way to work that connected with my values and what was important to me in my role as a professional and to help people that I deal with.
I found in Narrative Therapy a respectful approach towards the people with whom I work and to myself in my professional role.
I first trained in Narrative Therapy with Italo Latorre and later on with Carlos Chimpen and then at the Institute of Narrative Therapy, with Hugh Fox in Manchester.
I'm presently still gaining experience and training and I 'm not sure if I will ever stop.
